About college recommendations

If you are in the Class of 2012 and want me to write one of your college recommendations, see this information page on recommendations. The first step is to complete a brief survey and give it to me by June 22. Next, return to that page [updated link -- URL changed 9/28/11] in September for instructions about what you'll need to do in the fall. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me over the summer.

Class Mon. 6/20

If you weren't in class on Monday, you can download the two things you missed from FirstClass:

• A survey to complete about your experience in the class.
  
• A computer lab activity that introduces Wolfram Alpha.

There's no homework for the post-exam weekend.

Final Exam Fri. 6/17

The final exam is on Friday. Please arrive at the exam room (241 for E block, 174 for F block) by 10:50 a.m. and plan to stay through 1:00 p.m. in case you need the extended time that is offered to all students.

Friday we will have our end-of-unit test on probability. Class time on Wednesday and/or Thursday was devoted to working on review problems. Homework is to finish the review problems and study for the test.
